Bridge Road Brewery - Beechworth

Bridge Road Brewery at Beechworth is one of my favourite breweries in Victoria. Don't mind a "Bee sting" at the Beechworth Bakery as well! Pizza outside the brewery front door and a sunny lunchtime is fantastic, Always a great selection of their beers on tap.

Some of the beers I have sampled include:

  Bling - this is one of my favourites. Great malt and hops aroma and flavour

 The Robust Porter is very dark with a brown head. Coffee, chocolate and roasted caramel flavours. Quite delicious!

Victorian Breweries

Thought for my first post I should list a couple of my favourite Victorian Breweries

Jamieson Brewery - favourite beer "The Beast IPA". The 2010 Winter/Spring seasonal release of the "Black Beast", a 7% American Imperial Black Ale, served only on tap from the brewery (until it runs out) is brilliant. Floral aroma, rich and dark in colour, with a lingering bitter after taste. A great beer.
